BATOR TUNNEL DOORS

Over the years, the BATOR GROUP has successfully equipped various road and railway tunnels with its tunnel door systems:

Marmaray railway tunnel, Istanbul (Turkey)

Railway tunnel 60-70 m (183 - 217 ft.) under sea level in the Bosporus. 115 V4A stainless steel sliding doors with certified fire protection over 240 minutes. Construction designed for an explosion resistance of 100 kN/m2 (2,088 lbs. / ft2). Size 5.0 m x 3.8 m (15 x 12 ft.)

Mappa-Moretino road tunnel (Switzerland)

Horizontal sectional door opening on both sides. Pressure resistance up to negative pressure of 30 kN/m2 (626 lbs. / ft2); fire insulation up to 120 min. Size 12 m x 4.8 m (36 ft. x 14 ft.)

Metrorex, Bucharest (Romania)

The metro system in Bucharest has  been extended by the new line no. 5. BATOR was commissioned with the development, production and delivery of 82 doors (entrances, train tunnels and ventilation). The doors are resistant to pressure of up to 75 kN/m2 (1,566 lbs. / ft2).
