BATOR GROUP - Design, Engineering, Production and Maintenance
Glas Trösch (Switzerland)
Depending on the specific needs, available space and requirement profiles, BATOR offers different types of industrial doors. BATOR only produces horizontally opening steel doors and does not offer any vertical doors such as sectional, stacking or roller doors.
The classic among industrial door systems. BATOR four-fold doors (also known as bi-fold doors or simply folding doors) can be operated manually, electrically or even pneumatically. The door is highly customisable up to a height of 38 ft. with an unlimited number of door panels. Additional features: suspended or running on ground, burglary resistant certification level WK3 / RC3, bullet-resistant up to level BR4 / FB4, UL hurricane certified (Miami Dade) up to HVWZ 180 psf (DP 120 psf). Sliding doors open and close large building openings along the facade in a horizontal motion. Particularly large and heavy doors can be installed rolling on the floor track to relieve the lintel from the door weight. The advantages are obvious: low air permeability, tightness against air and water, suitable for high wind loads, robust and mature construction, design can be matched to the facade, smooth running and minimal noise.
Smaller doors can also be designed for manual operation. From a size of 350 sqft. (~35 m2), we recommend a BATOR drive.
Available as CLASSIC, SECURE, FIRE, PHON, THERM and SPECIAL.
The BATOR sliding folding door is the popular and intelligent solution for large openings in industrial and commercial situations where space in the return is limited. Whether as a garage, industrial hall, delivery or airlock door: our folding sliding doors always present themselves well. This model has the same safety certificates as the folding door and, with its great flexibility, gives architects plenty of discretionary scope. Hanging or floor-supported, up to 12 metres high and in any length, the BATOR folding sliding door solves many space problems.
The BATOR telescopic sliding door is the chameleon among industrial doors. The size of the door surface is irrelevant: small garage openings of less than 100 sqft (10 m2) and hangars of more than 3,000 sqft (300 m2) can both be easily equipped with the BATOR telescopic sliding door. The smart thing about it is that the door panels move synchronously or asynchronously on several tracks and take up very little space when open. Modern door technology that pays off. With regular maintenance, BATOR doors will stay in operation for decades.
The BATOR sectional sliding door solves space problems in the return in an intelligent way: the door simply runs along the interior wall. It merely takes a 1/2 ft. (150 mm) space from the wall. As the manufacturer, BATOR supplies and installs the door drive and the safety elements. This industrial door is WK3/RC3 and FB4/BR4 tested and certified.
Special doors are the master discipline in industrial door technology, and this is where BATOR unleashes its full potential. Foldable glass facades and special acoustic solutions for theatre and opera are just a few examples. Other application examples are crane flaps, soundproof doors, doors with explosion protection or fire protection doors for road traffic or railway tunnels. BATOR has an excellent network as a developer and manufacturer in special door construction with decades of proven experience.
